Affordable Housing In Cannock A Pedalling Challenge

Walsall Waterfront South Gains Planning Permission

Walsall Waterfront South Gains Planning Permission - July 07

Jessup’s flagship mixed use development (see news April 07) has gained planning permission. Clearance work has commenced on site and the timing of the first construction phase will be announced shortly.

Clive Jessup, Managing Director, makes the following comment: “Gaining planning permission for the Jessup £65m Waterfront South, canal-side development in Walsall is the culmination of a long process of collaboration with the Walsall Regeneration Company and the Town’s Planning Officers. We could not have delivered such an effective design proposal without their positive attitude and expert help.
Both ourselves and our architects S. P. Faizey have been impressed with their determination to revitalise and regenerate Walsall, with their ‘can do’ approach to achieve the best built environment solutions for living and working in the town.
Our development is one of many new projects that are being delivered in Walsall and driven by WRC and Walsall Council. Their enlightened attitude is attracting huge new inward investment into the town and means that Walsall can now look forward to a successful future”.
