
Shadow Housing Minister visits Millward Street site
On 3rd December 2015, following a long day of voting in The House of Commons, Shadow Housing Minister John Healey visited the BMHT site at Millward Street, Birmingham being developed by Jessup.
He was joined by John Clancy, the new leader of Birmingham City Council, Councillor Tahir Ali, councillor for Nechells Ward and Cabinet Member for Development, Transport and the Economy. Also attending was Councillor John Cotton, Cabinet Member for Neighbourhood Management and Homes at Birmingham City Council, and Clive Skidmore, Head of Development at Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust, the organisation which delivers Birmingham’s social housing schemes.
The team met with new tenants at the site in Nechells and viewed some of the 26 family homes, providing 2,3,4 and 5 bedroom accommodation.
