From winning this scheme on Competitive Tender, Jessup have worked with Adullam Homes to ensure they received comprehensive information particularly since this scheme represented Adullams’ largest new build project to date.
Jessup were keen to ensure their clients fully understood the Mechanical and Electrical specifications, which enable the building to have suitable security and sustainable heating provisions. This required several M&E meetings with the client and their representatives Francis Graves and Partners.
The project was built on reclaimed brownfield land and benefited from trench fill foundations, storm water attenuation and permeable paving. Internally, combined air source heat pumps were used with zone controlled underfloor heating.
The scheme also benefited from communal areas and wide corridors to enable the occupants, some of whom have disabilities, to circulate freely and fully utilise the accommodation and create a true community feeling within the development.
Designed in a modernist style utilising a variety of façade materials, Rowans Court compliments the existing street scene.
