In July 2017, Birmingham Municipal Housing Trust launched a new initiative “Building great homes, creating great places” and invited Jessup MD Clive Jessup to join the leader of Birmingham Council John Clancy and renowned designer Wayne Hemingway to present their views on tackling the national housing shortage.

Wayne Hemingway advocated the use of more smaller builders such as Jessup to stimulate the housing development industry, taking advantage of their experience and agility to deliver homes quickly.
