Health and Safety Policy

Jessup is ISO45001 and CHAS certified. We are committed to excellence in Health and Safety on our sites, offices and in local communities where we work. Our dedicated Health and Safety Manager ensures that we comply with all current legislation and meet or exceed best practice for the construction industry. This has given us an excellent Health and Safety record and gives our partners confidence that we operate our sites safely at all times.

Health and Safety is considered at the earliest opportunity for new schemes, starting at tender stage where developments are assessed for any potential health and safety risks, and mitigation that may be required. This is incorporated into the site Health and Safety Plan, design specification and other site specific procedures such as the Traffic Management Plan.

All Site Managers are trained to a high level in Health and Safety, and regular audits are undertaken to ensure compliance. Our Health and Safety Policy details the full range of activities and measures we put in place to keep everyone safe.
